Polish photographer Pawl Jaszcuk’s photobook “High Fashion” has been released as a limited special edition.
The new edition (limited to 25) includes the photobook, which features a different cover but the same content, and comes in a plexiglass cover insert. The special edition also features a signed and numbered print of one of the photographs in the series.

The photobook “High Fashion” shows battle-hardened office workers of Tokyo after their daily fight. Drunk, tired, passed out from overwork, alcohol or both, sometimes sprawled on the ground, other times leaning against Tokyo’s architecture in such intricate shapes that the pictures almost seem posed.

“Here in the street there is nothing reigned, why is he falling, littered and torn; is it really his excess or theirs? We should hate those men in their everywhere offices but that is an effort often beyond us. So we ask of this man asleep in the street his real label, and it is given unconsciously. And sometimes we also fall, our desires and damaged souls exposed, when we too grow tired of their control.”
