Wallasey is my hometown in the north-west of england on the wirral a peninsular between liverpool and north wales. Weeds as a metaphor for my roots.
Most of these photographs were taken between 2007-2012 in the local docklands where I grew up,this area is now the subject of a multi-million pound development by peel holdings and a chinese consortium. I hope I have documented its wildness in the ongoing battle between nature and man.
The weeds are always there growing!
